Application
- Apply using a standard sealant gun with the nozzle cut at an angle of 45°, and to an opening slightly larger than the joint to be sealed.
- Use the appropriate backing material to set the depth of the seal. Gun in the sealant, taking care to avoid entraining air or leaving gaps and ensure that there is complete contact between sealant and substrate, particularly in any crevices.
- Tool down using a wetted spatula. For applications where the movement will occur, the correct geometry is essential to make sure that a fire break is maintained. A full fire test report is available on request.
